From the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis we have asserted that our theatre’s historic doors will open to the public again when it is safe to do so. Following the Government announcement on Monday 4 January 2021 of a further national lockdown, we are sorry to confirm that the Coliseum will remain closed until further notice as we support the national effort to control the virus and protect our community.
If you have tickets for any upcoming events at the Coliseum, including those which were due to be rescheduled from our Covid-secure season (which was cancelled following the announcement of the second UK lockdown in November 2020), please bear with us whilst we work to secure new dates. We’re working as quickly as possible to reschedule events and will contact all affected ticket holders as soon as we can.
We are so very grateful for all the support the Coliseum has received and continues to receive from our audiences, local businesses, funders and friends, and we will ensure that our theatre’s vital role in the communities of Oldham and Greater Manchester is safeguarded for generations to come.
If you need to get in touch with us our Box Office phone line is open on Mondays 10am-3pm, alternatively you can contact us by emailing email@example.com.
Thank you for your patience. We miss you and look forward to seeing you all again as soon as we can.
