The Premier League fixtures are coming out on Thursday morning, with the new season coming round quickly after the last finished.
The 2019-20 season only came to a close on 26 July due to the coronavirus hiatus from March-June, but after a short break for some, and no break at all for teams competing in Europe, it is time to turn attentions to the next campaign.
Promoted sides Leeds United, West Brom and Fulham will be itching to find out which teams they will face on their return to the Premier League, while the usual big fixtures between the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are always highlights of the calendar.
When are the Premier League fixtures announced?
The fixtures are announced on Thursday 20 August at 9am, with all the information here on Metro.co.uk.
When does the Premier League season start?
The season gets underway on Saturday 12 September and runs until 23 May 2021.
When are EFL fixtures announced?
The fixtures for the Championship, League One and League Two do not come out at the same time as the Premier League, they are released the following day – Friday 21 August – at 9am.
